The City of Toronto is planning to replace the Littleleaf Pedestrian Bridge & rehabilitate the Mammoth Hall Trail Culvert This work will ensure that the bridge and culvert meet today’s standards and remains safe for use by the travelling public well into the future. The project is part of the Council-approved 2022 Capital Works Program.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19 AND CONSTRUCTION WORK IN TORONTO

During construction, the contractor is responsible for the Health & Safety on site under the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and is expected to implement COVID-19 mitigation practices. For more information on the City's response to COVID-19 please visit toronto.ca/covid-19.

WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE CONSTRUCTION

  • Work crews will mark the locations of underground utilities, such as gas, water and cable so that the construction work does not interfere with these utilities.
  • Affected properties will receive a Construction Notice approximately two weeks before work begins with more information about the work.

Accessible Accommodation: The City's contractor must ensure safe and accessible walkways and entryways are maintained for everyone during construction. Any temporary access disruptions will be communicated as soon as possible. If you experience a disruption, have a specific access need or related accommodation request, contact the Field Ambassador listed below.

Pedestrians: The work will require a full closure of the Pedestrian Bridge, adjacent trails, and temporary sidewalk restrictions for the duration of construction.

Traffic Management: Road users should expect temporary shoulder closures and turning construction vehicles on Mammoth Hall Trail. When driving, please be mindful of vulnerable road users.
